Types of Divan Beds
There are several styles and design of divan base available. As well as solid divan bases or platform bases available there are divan beds with sprung bases too. These have a layer of springs that cover the top of the base to provide a softer, more sumptuous feel. These are also good for providing support to your mattress and thereby prolonging its life. There are also different storage compartments available. If there is little space for traditional drawers to open fully in a room then you can purchase a divan bed with sliding storage. Along with pocket sprung divan beds and memory foam divan beds , there are also beds with continental storage available that although use traditional style drawers, have slightly smaller sizes that allow a bedside table to fit neatly next to the bed. Other mattresses available, that can be bought separately or together with a divan bed, are pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses that luxuriously mould to your body shape for that extra bit of comfort. Our pocket sprung mattresses are perfect for anyone who moves around a lot in their sleep as the independent springs are sewn into individual pockets in the fabric to absorb weight better and ease the pressure on the spine.
