What will I have to do when I join?
As a Panel Member, you’d tell us about all the purchases made in your household and share your viewing habits. It’s very simple and nothing will need to be written down. Instead, you would use our mobile scanning app to capture the barcode on each product bought. This then gives us most of the information we need. Your TV viewing data is collected through a second mobile viewing app which also connects wirelessy to your TV’s set-top box.
How will I be rewarded?
In return for scanning all of your household's shopping, you will be rewarded with points each week. You will then be able to save these points and exchange them against a wide range of gifts or experiences that are featured in our exclusive online catalogue (with a choice of thousands of gifts). Also, every month your membership number will be automatically entered into a fantastic prize draw, in which we give away lots of amazing prizes, ranging from holidays to state of the art gadgets and once a year we even give away a brand new car! Your TV viewing will be a separately rewarded with points that can be exchanged for Amazon vouchers.
What happens to the information I scan?
Once a week, the shopping information you would have scanned will be collected from you automatically, via your device, at no cost to you. This scanning information will then be combined anonymously, along with the rest of our Scanning Panel's data. Specific analyses will then be carried out on the Panel's "whole pot" of shopping information which then provides important facts and trends to many different manufacturers and retailers.
What happens to my TV viewing information?
Just like your scanning data, this information will be automatically collected each week, via the mobile viewing app and at absolutely no cost to you at all. Your viewing data will remain anonymous and will be combined with other members’ viewing data, with analyses being carried out on the ‘whole pot’ in providing trends and facts to manufacturers and retailers.
