We are a UK based greeting card and gift company and we celebrate the work of great artists and are always looking to push, promote and celebrate with them. Artful is a quarterly kit of professional art supplies that we organize and distribute. Each season, we visit a new art technique, create a magazine to guide you in using it (with a little help from some art professionals) and share our community's creations on Instagram. Papergang is a monthly subscription to stationery designed by independent artists we discover and love. Sometimes we discover people whose art we love so much that we need to have a set of stationery in their style. That's why Papergang exists It all started with cards for us. All of our products, including our greeting cards, come from sustainable well-maintained forests or from recycled materials. Our manufacturer, which produces our greeting cards, is also one of the UK's leading ethical companies, recycling all your old pallets and food waste. Wherever possible, we also aim to use 100% recycled or sustainably sourced materials in our products. All our envelopes are made from sustainable and/or recycled materials. Our manufacturers are audited and have all the correct certifications. They recycle all waste paper-based material every day, including all envelope paper and cardboard, which is then used by a recycling partner to manufacture new recycled paper-based products like our Fleck Kraft envelopes.
All of our gift wrapping is made from 100% recycled paper and, unlike most gift wrapping, it can be recycled again. We've moved all of our orders to cardboard boxes and are removing all unnecessary plastic lids from our stationery and gifts, replacing them with bio-cello alternatives whenever possible. We have an in-house cardboard shredder, where we transform all of our surplus cardboard boxes into packaging material to hold our deliveries - ensuring your products arrive safely while allowing you to recycle them to completion.
We are also removing vinyl tape from our mailboxes and replacing it with brown paper tape when the box is not self-sealing. We are continually looking for improvements in our packaging processes to make them more sustainable.
