PMT Education Department - School and College Pricing
Teachers, schools and music education providers can access reduced trade pricing through the PMT education team. Submit proof of your institution status to receive a quote on bulk instrument orders. This is separate from the individual student discount and covers classroom packs.
Open Box Deals on Studio Equipment and Synths
Open-box items at PMT are customer returns or display units that have been tested and repackaged. They carry the full manufacturer warranty but cost less than sealed stock. The open-box range shifts quickly, particularly for popular synthesizers and audio interfaces.
PMT Seasonal Sales - Bank Holiday and Summer Deals
Beyond Black Friday, PMT runs sales around Bank Holiday weekends and during the summer months. These events typically feature percentage discounts across specific instrument families rather than sitewide reductions. The homepage carousel flags current seasonal promotions.
NHS and Key Worker Discount at PMT
PMT has offered discounts for NHS staff and key workers during promotional periods. Verification is handled through a recognised key worker platform. The discount percentage varies and may not stack with other ongoing promotions, so confirm the terms before checkout.
Refer a Friend to PMT and Earn Rewards
PMT occasionally runs referral programmes where existing customers can share a unique link with friends. When the referred person completes a qualifying purchase, both parties receive a reward credit. Check your account dashboard to see if a referral scheme is currently active.
PMT Price Drops - Recently Reduced Instruments
A dedicated price-drop section on the PMT website collects items that have recently had their retail price cut. This is separate from the clearance outlet and features brand-new stock rather than B-stock. Useful for spotting mid-season reductions on popular gear.
Free Setup on Acoustic and Electric Guitars at PMT
Every guitar purchased from PMT includes a complimentary pre-delivery inspection and setup by their in-house technicians. The team checks intonation, action and electronics before the instrument ships. This service would normally cost £30-£50 at an independent luthier.
Multi-Buy Savings on Guitar Strings and Accessories
Stock up on consumables like guitar strings, drumsticks and cables with multi-buy pricing at PMT. Buying packs of three or more of the same item often triggers an automatic discount at checkout. Mix and match is not always available so check the product page for qualifying bundles.
PMT Exclusive Models and Limited Edition Instruments
Certain guitars and amplifiers are produced as PMT-exclusive variants with unique finishes or upgraded specs not available from other UK retailers. These often launch at promotional introductory prices before settling at their standard retail level.
Buy Now Pay Later with Klarna at PMT
Klarna is available as a payment option at PMT checkout, letting you split your purchase into three interest-free instalments. The first payment is taken at checkout with the remaining two collected 30 and 60 days later. Eligibility is subject to Klarna's approval.
Demo Days and In-Store Events at PMT Locations
PMT regularly hosts manufacturer demo days at its retail branches where brand representatives showcase new gear. Attendees sometimes get access to event-exclusive pricing on the featured products. Upcoming dates are listed on the PMT events page.
PMT Halloween Sale - Spooky Savings on Selected Gear
During the Halloween period PMT highlights themed deals on selected instruments and accessories. Previous promotions have included discounts on guitar effects pedals and dark-finish models. Check the homepage banner in late October for the current year's offers.
Follow PMT on Social Media for Flash Sale Alerts
PMT posts time-limited flash deals and restock notifications on their Facebook, Instagram and X profiles. These promotions sometimes last only 48 hours and cover everything from individual guitar pedals to full keyboard workstations.
Trade In Your Old Gear at PMT
PMT accepts trade-ins of guitars, basses, amplifiers and other instruments against new purchases. Bring your item into any PMT store for a valuation or submit details online for a quote. The trade-in value is deducted directly from your new order total.
PMT Gift Cards from £10 to £500
Digital and physical gift cards are available in denominations from £10 up to £500. The recipient can redeem against any product on the PMT website or in-store. No expiry date applies to the balance, making this a safe option if you are unsure what gear someone needs.
Shop Used and Second-Hand Instruments at PMT
PMT carries a rotating selection of used and ex-display instruments across its stores and website. Each item is tested by their technicians before listing. You can find vintage guitars, pre-owned synths and second-hand drum kits at noticeably lower prices than new equivalents.
Free Next Day Delivery on Selected PMT Stock
Many in-stock items at PMT qualify for free next working day delivery within mainland UK. Look for the free delivery badge on product pages. Larger instruments like upright pianos and heavy amplifiers may carry a surcharge for courier delivery.
0% Interest Finance on Instruments Over £250
Spread the cost of your gear purchase with interest-free finance available on orders totalling £250 or more. Choose from 9 or 12-month repayment plans at checkout. Subject to a soft credit check and available to UK residents aged 18 and over.
Price Match Promise at PMT
Found a musical instrument cheaper elsewhere? PMT operates a price match policy on like-for-like products from authorised UK dealers. Contact the sales team with proof of the lower price before or after purchase and they will match it where possible.
10% Student Discount Across the PMT Website
Verified students get 10% off sitewide at PMT through StudentBeans. Register with a valid academic email or upload your student ID to unlock the discount. Applies to most full-price instruments and equipment, though certain brands may be excluded.
Up to 35% Off PMT Outlet Deals
The PMT outlet section features open-box, B-stock and end-of-line musical instruments at reduced prices. Discounts reach up to 35% off the original retail price. Items may have cosmetic wear or missing packaging so check the individual product notes before buying.
PMT Black Friday Deals - Save on Guitars, Drums and More
PMT runs a Black Friday sale with reductions across guitars, drums, keyboards and audio gear. Stock moves fast during this period so checking the dedicated sale page early gives you the best pick of discounted instruments before they sell out.
