Rent Nintendo Switch Games and Avoid £50 Retail Prices

Switch cartridges hold their value notoriously well, making rental particularly cost-effective for Nintendo platforms. Boomerang stocks a rotating selection of first-party and indie Switch titles. At £50-plus per new Nintendo release, renting two or three games a month already beats buying one.

Gift a Boomerang Subscription - Prepaid Rental Vouchers Available

Boomerang offers gift subscriptions that let you prepay one, three, or six months of game rentals for someone else. The recipient activates the voucher on their own account and gets full access to the chosen package tier. This is a practical present for gamers who already own consoles but rarely buy new releases at full price.

Halloween Horror Game Rentals - Spooky Titles in Stock for October

October is the ideal month to rent survival horror and psychological thriller games through Boomerang's catalogue. Rather than buying a scary title you'll only play once for the season, rent it for a fraction of the retail price and return it when you're done. Popular horror franchises rotate through availability, so check the new arrivals section early in the month.

Black Friday Game Rental Deals - Watch for Annual Plan Discounts

During Black Friday, Boomerang typically runs reduced rates on longer commitment plans and sometimes drops the first month to a symbolic price. If you've been holding off on subscribing, this is the window to grab a multi-month package at the steepest reduction. Check back in late November for the specific tier discounts.

Upgrade to Priority Package 2 for Two Discs at a Time

Step up from the single-disc Priority Package 1 to Package 2 and keep two games out simultaneously. This suits households with multiple players or anyone who likes a backup title ready while finishing the current one. The per-disc cost works out lower than running two separate single-disc subscriptions.

Pre-Owned PlayStation Games from £4.99

Browse the second-hand PlayStation section for discs starting under a fiver, with stock changing regularly as renters return titles. Each disc is inspected and resurfaced before sale, and you get the standard Boomerang guarantee on playability. Compared to buying new, the savings on older PS4 and PS5 titles can be significant.

Cancel Anytime - No Lock-In on Rental Subscriptions

All Boomerang rental plans operate on a rolling monthly basis with no minimum contract length. You can pause or cancel from your account dashboard without phoning up or paying exit fees. This is useful if you want to subscribe for a summer gaming binge and stop during busier months.

Stack the 21-Day Trial with a Bulk Plan to Test Before You Commit

Start with the free three-week trial to gauge how quickly you turn over games, then roll straight into a multi-month bulk package to lock in up to 25% off. Because the trial gives you full Priority Package access, you'll know exactly which tier suits your playing habits before spending a penny. This combination lets you trial the top tier, then drop to whichever bulk plan matches your actual usage.

Keep Any Rented Game Forever and Pay the Used Price

If you fall in love with a title you're renting, Boomerang lets you buy the disc outright at its current pre-owned value. The amount you've already paid in rental fees doesn't count toward the purchase, but the keep-it price is typically well below what a brand-new copy costs. You avoid the hassle of returning it and get the original case and manual posted to you.

Rent Unlimited Games from £7.99 a Month with No Late Fees

The basic rental package lets you have one disc at a time for £7.99 monthly, with no due dates or late return charges. Postage is covered both directions, so you simply send a game back in the prepaid envelope when you're ready for the next one. This works out cheaper than buying new releases if you typically finish a game within a few weeks.
