If you are looking for something a little more relaxed than a hike, there are many walks to choose from in Killarney. With over 26,000 acres to explore in Killarney National Park, you are sure to find some of the plants, animals, landscapes, mountains, lakes, forests, and waterfalls that have made Killarney as famous as it is today. If you are looking for a longer walk, take a walk along the old Kenmare Road, which is 10 miles long. A beautiful scenic drive is found in the Tomie Forest, a 10 km loop with several waterfalls, the most impressive being O'Sullivan's Cascade. The Knockreer Loop Walk is a simple 5km trail, located just a 5 minute drive from the town of Killarney and features stunning views of Lough Leane and MacGillycuddy Reeks. Ross Castle, Muckross House, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall, Gap of Dunloe are just a few of the fabulous bike trails that are popular with visitors to the city. Now there is even the opportunity to rent an electric bike for a fun and easy tour of Killarney.
KAYAK IN THE LAKES OF KILLARNEY
