What do I get by signing Floe? When can I expect my boxes to arrive?
We will ship your first box of Floe right after your subscription. Then, every 3 months, we'll send you another Floe Signature Box containing the toothbrush, toothpaste and floss you already love and are familiar with.
The British Dental Association (BDA) recommends replacing the brush every 3 months. Therefore, we design our products to last that long. Changing the My Floe Plan Schedule and Shipping Address Your floe box will be delivered at 3-month intervals, depending on when you placed your order. This is in line with the British Dental Association's recommended replacement intervals for your toothbrush, and the other products are designed to last the same length.
Replacing your toothbrush is not a marketing ploy or a trick by the dental industry to get you to buy more toothbrushes. It is an essential part of maintaining good oral health. Worn bristles do not clean. The main purpose of brushing your teeth is to remove plaque and frayed bristles cannot do this effectively.
Why? The frayed bristles become sharp and pull away from the teeth during brushing, preventing the fine lines from reaching the crucial area between the gums and teeth, known as the sulcus. The 5,460 CUREN bristles on our Curaprox toothbrush stay better longer, but still need to be replaced every three months. Worn-out bristles also damage the gums. When brushes are made, the Nylon bristles - or in our case CUREN® - are rounded into a soft dome shape to ensure they are non-abrasive. However, the more you brush, the more the bristles regain the pointed look we talked about earlier, causing damage to the gums and enamel.
These pointed, sharp bristles may look harmless, but they damage the enamel and cut the gums. Imagine you haven't changed brushes for an entire year; it's nine months of gingival retraction and permanently shaved enamel layers.
Why ultra-soft? The simple answer is they are better for you. Hard bristles combined with the wrong brushing technique are often blamed for receding gums. Young adults, in particular, often damage their gums thinking that brushing harder = brushing better.
Studies show that softer bristles are not only gentler on the gums and enamel, but they also remove bacteria more effectively by bending at the gumline. When can I expect my box to arrive? We will notify you by email once your order has been processed. It will then be passed on to a third-party shipping provider. Estimated delivery time will be: UK = 2-3 working days; Europe = 6-9 business days; and RoW = 7-14 business days (business days means Saturdays, Sundays or holidays are not included in this period); however, sometimes there may be delays due to delays in post / carriers, logistics or bad weather.
