School Shoe Technologies
We're Kickers and if you don't know by now, we pride ourselves on building shoes that last. Need the proof? We conduct over 50 rigorous tests on all our shoes to make sure they can stand up to anything! What makes them so good? We pack each style with Kickers' technologies - ensuring the best fit, comfort and safety for growing feet. Our iconic styles have made their mark in history, dressing generations through every moment since the 1970s. We celebrate individuality, and want everyone to find a shoe they love - that's why we design our collections with versatility, but with all the same features and technologies that make us who we are. We also want kids to be kids, whether that means jumping in puddles, playing football or kicking back at the park, that why we've ensured our shoes are up to the challenge. Here's what makes them great:
Durable: Heaps of features designed and tested to protect and secure little active feet. Comfort: Cushioned footbed and padded heel collars keep feet from aching after an active day. Tough on the outside but super comfy in the inside. Scuff Resistant: Designed with 'wear and tear zones' using materials that handle all those daily scrapes and scuffs and keep shoes looking great. Premium Leather: The best quality materials deliver premium performance and even mould to the foot for a perfect fit. Anti-odour: Active technology that keeps bacteria away for fresher feet and shoes that continue to smell sweet. Stability: Designed with the support features that little heels and ankles really need as they grow. Lightweight: Reduced weight outsoles that offer enhanced comfort and make it easier to stay on your feet for longer. Reflective: Reflective materials provide added safety, staying visible in low light, smart right?
Durable 360: Reinforced stitching, additional padding in collars and strengthened fastenings make these styles perfectly playground proofed and built to last. Whether you're browsing online or shopping in-store, we want you to know all the great benefits that come with each pair of Kicks. So, if you're unsure, just take a look in our infant and junior sockliners, we wrote them down for you.
Shoe Care
Sharing is caring, and caring will keep your Kickers looking great. So, without further ado, we'd like to share our *not so secret* secrets on how you can keep your brand-new pair of Kicks looking at the top of their game!
First things first, you can clean most styles by gently rubbing clean with a damp cloth.
You heard it here first - avoid using polish on patent leather and rubberised leather styles.
You can, however, polish away on our standard leather styles. But before you go shoe shining, make sure they're clean and dry!
Keep your Kicks away from artificial heat (we're talking radiators and heaters), this might crack and damage the leather (and we definitely don't want that!)
Kickers in your washing machine is a big no no!
Got a pair of suede or nubuck styles? Brush gently with a soft brush, nubuck eraser or ultra-soft abrasive paper to keep them looking good
Difficult stains? No worries - try a neutral leather shampoo for a deep clean. For suede and nubuck styles the colour may slightly run but you can revive it with a colour protecting spray.
Sometimes colours may run onto socks or feet, especially with unlined leather. Don't sweat it - just apply a thin layer of waterproofing or colour-stop spray and you're onto a winner.
For closed shoes, pop them on with a shoehorn and always undo your laces or buckles when taking them on and off, this will help keep their signature shape
And there you have it, all the TLC your Kicks need to stand the test of time, now go out and enjoy them.
