Acrylic (Perspex®, Plexiglass, Lucite, Acrycast etc)

We work with Acrylic on a daily basis due to its many beneficial properties. Our facility is fully set up for specialist fabrication of acrylic from line bending to laser cutting and engraving.

Acrylic is available in a huge range of colours, finishes and thicknesses. It's great for retail POS displays as it has a highly polished premium finish and is strong and robust.

Bamboo Sheets

We commonly work with many different types of wood but particularly enjoy working with bamboo due to its many benefits both aesthetically and environmentally.

Bamboo is extremely fast growing, naturally regenerating, produces 25 times more usable material than hardwoods, and produces 35% more oxygen - just some of the reasons why Bamboo is great for us, and the environment!

Dibond / Aluminium Composite Panels

ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) is a fantastic material commonly used in the display industry. It features a thin aluminium face, sandwiching a Polyethylene core. This sandwich design gives the panel outstanding strength whilst keeping it lightweight and easy to handle.

We often use ACM in our displays requiring extra strength and impact resistance.

Polycarbonate (Makrolon)

Polycarbonate is similar in appearance to Acrylic but is much stronger with a high impact resistance and will withstand higher temperature.

Like Acrylic, Polycarbonate is highly transparent to visible light and actually has better light transmission than many kinds of glass.

Polycarbonate is commonly used for it's high strength and impact resistance.

PVC - Poly Vinyl Chloride

Solid PVC is a Flexible material, available in clear and white forms. It is a very cost-effective material, used for ticketing and card channels. It can be cold formed in thinner sections but cannot be laser cut as it produces chlorine gas!

We often use PVC on our print trap headers on our dump bins and as ticket strips due to their flexibility

Foam PVC (Foamex, Fomalux, etc.)

Like Solid PVC, closed-cell Foam PVC is solid and has a very rigid structure but it is also very light (as little as half the weight of solid PVC). It is highly resistant to moisture and some chemicals, and very easy to cut and shape. It can be heat formed and has excellent print adhesion properties making it ideal for signage and printed wall boards. Being closed cell, it is suitable for interior and exterior applications and has excellent UV resistance.

Foam PVC is commonly used on our dump bins

PETG Polyester terephthalate glycol

PETG is a rigid sheet that has a high transparency and toughness which it retains even at low temperatures. It is easy to machine and fabricate including cold bending and is suitable for printing.

PETG has excellent inorganic chemical resistance and is suitable for contact with foodstuffs and medical applications. It also has excellent thermoforming properties and unlike polycarbonate there is no need for predrying

Birch Plywood

Birch plywood is often used in our lecterns and shopfittings. We always use Birch Ply due to its quality and finish.

Plywood offers great strength and the end of the material offer a unique and eye-catching finish.

Furniture, shopfittings, retail shelving and more are all great options for plywood design.

We are certainly not limited to these materials alone and are working with new and innovative materials on a daily basis including woods, cardboards, composite panels and also vinyl wrap materials. From wood effects right through to realistic rust effects, we can achieve almost anything!
