Raiola Networks's generic shared hosting plans are of two types (SSD Hosting and Advanced SSD Hosting) with several plans of each type. All the packages share some core features, such as:

  • SSD storage
  • Free SSL certificates
  • 99% uptime guarantee
  • DDoS protection
  • Free migration
  • cPanel control panel

Automatic backups of your website data are performed on a regular basis, but you can also set your own backup schedule via the user-friendly cPanel control panel that lets you control all aspects of your hosting. The cPanel also includes a one-click CMS installer that lets you easily install apps such as WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop, Magento, and Drupal.

Hosting servers run the CloudLinux operating system that isolates your account from the adverse effects of other hosted users. This greatly improves the stability, security, and performance of your website.

Pricing and Support

Raiola Networks' hosting plans are a tad expensive. They differ in terms of storage, bandwidth, RAM, CPU, and a few other things, and you can choose to have CMS preinstalled at the checkout.

You can choose to be billed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or biennially, and you get a free domain with a year or two-year commitment. You don't need to worry too much about making a major commitment because the 30-day money-back guarantee should get you out if anything goes wrong within the first few weeks. Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, or SEPA Direct Debit.

Although the Raiola Networks website advertises 24/7 support, this is not as responsive as I would have hoped. While the available support channels include email, telephone, and ticket, there is no live chat. On the plus side, there is a reasonably populated knowledge base (in Spanish).
