Simply Hike YouTube Channel - Buying Advice Before You Spend
Beyond the codes and sales, Simply Hike maintains a YouTube channel packed with gear advice and product walkthroughs. It's not a direct discount, but watching their kit reviews before purchasing helps you avoid buying the wrong specification - a £200 waterproof jacket that isn't breathable enough for your use case is a waste regardless of any promo code applied. The channel covers everything from tent pitching tutorials to boot fitting guides, letting you make an informed choice the first time around.
Simply Hike Outlet Section - Reduced Outdoor Gear
Past the promo codes, Simply Hike runs a dedicated Outlet section featuring clearance pricing on hiking clothing, camping equipment, footwear, and bags from major outdoor brands. These are end-of-line or last-season items rather than current stock, so sizes and colours can be limited - but the markdowns are typically deeper than what a 5% checkout code delivers. Worth checking before applying any discount code, as outlet items may stack with active promotions for compounded savings.
Hassle-Free Returns on All Simply Hike Orders
The obvious savings come from discount codes, but the returns policy is where Simply Hike's less obvious value sits. Every order qualifies for hassle-free returns, meaning you can try hiking boots or waterproof jackets at home and send back anything that doesn't fit without being penalised. This effectively removes the risk from ordering multiple sizes - a real money-saver compared to retailers who charge return postage or restocking fees.
Clearpay Available at Simply Hike - Spread the Cost Interest-Free
Beyond the discount codes, Simply Hike accepts Clearpay as a payment method at checkout. This lets you split your outdoor gear purchase into four equal instalments with no interest charges, which is particularly useful when you're kitting out for a multi-day trek and need a tent, sleeping bag, and boots all at once. Combine this with the free delivery threshold and you avoid postage fees while paying in manageable chunks.
Free UK Standard Delivery on Eligible Orders at Simply Hike
Standard postage to UK mainland addresses is waived when your basket reaches the qualifying threshold. The delivery saving applies automatically at checkout with no code required - particularly handy for bulky items like tents and sleeping bags where courier costs would otherwise stack up.
