Free EU Roaming With Up to 12GB Data Allowance
Every SMARTY plan includes EU roaming at no extra cost, letting you use your regular UK allowance for calls and texts while travelling. Data is capped at 12GB per month when abroad - anything beyond that comes out of your plan's UK allowance or triggers SMARTY's standard add-on rates. No separate roaming pass or daily charge is required, which sets SMARTY apart from networks that apply £2-£3 daily EU roaming fees.
No Annual Price Rises on All Rolling Monthly SIM Plans
Unlike most UK networks that hike prices every April in line with inflation, SMARTY guarantees no mid-contract price increases on its rolling one-month plans. The £12, £15, £17 and £20 tiers all stay at their advertised rate for as long as you remain a customer. Over a typical 12-month period that can mean paying £30-£60 less than you would on a comparable plan that implements annual RPI increases.
Double Data on the £8 Plan - 32GB Instead of 16GB
SMARTY's current headline deal doubles your monthly data allowance on the £8 plan, giving you 32GB rather than the standard 16GB at the same price. It's a rolling monthly contract so there's no long commitment - if you find a better deal elsewhere you can leave with 30 days' notice. The doubled data is applied automatically when you order the SIM through the plans page, so there's nothing extra to do at checkout.
12GB EU Roaming Included at No Extra Cost on Every Plan
Every SMARTY rolling plan - from the £8 32GB option up to the £20 Unlimited tier - lets you use up to 12GB of your monthly data allowance while travelling in the EU, plus unlimited UK and EU calls and texts. No roaming add-on to buy and no hidden surcharges; it activates automatically when your phone connects to a partner network abroad.
Stack a Promo Code on Top of Already-Low Rolling Plans
SMARTY's rolling monthly structure means plans already start from £8-£20 with no contract lock-in, and discount codes can be applied at SIM activation checkout for extra savings on top. Pick your data tier first - anything from the 32GB plan up to Unlimited - then enter your promo during sign-up to reduce the first month's cost. One active code per transaction.
Double Data on 32GB SIM - Now Just £8 Per Month
SMARTY has doubled the data allowance on their 32GB plan while keeping the price at £8 monthly. That works out to twice the megabytes for the same rolling contract with no long-term commitment, and since SMARTY doesn't do annual mid-contract price hikes, that £8 stays fixed for as long as you keep the plan.
Student Discount on SIM Plans - Verify with Student Beans or UNiDAYS
SMARTY runs a student verification programme through Student Beans and UNiDAYS. If you're registered as a student, you can unlock a reduced monthly rate on selected rolling SIM-only plans after confirming your status. The discount applies on top of SMARTY's already contract-free pricing, so you still get the flexibility to cancel anytime without penalties. Worth checking before you commit to a standard plan if you have a valid .ac.uk email or Student Beans account.
