HOW DO I CLEAN MY TYFOSI GLASSES?
Cleaning and maintenance: use the microfiber cleaning bag for storage. If the glasses are dirty, use the cleaning bag to clean them. If necessary, rinse with mild soap and warm water. We recommend cleaning and cleaning to maintain the lenses.
IS MY TIFOSI CLEANING BAG WASHABLE?
Yes. We recommend putting it in a mesh lingerie bag and machine washing it in similar colors at low temperatures. Dry below. Your Tifosi cleaning bag can also be hand washed with a mild detergent and cold water. Rinse thoroughly, tumble dry or hang to dry.
WHAT DO INTERCHANGEABLE SUNGLASSES INCLUDE?
The interchangeable Tifosi Optics sunglasses include three lenses for use in different lighting conditions, a rigid eclipse case and a microfiber cleaning bag.
Tifosi Optics offers three interchangeable lens systems: Standard, All-Sport and Polarized. Standard systems come with Smoke or Brown, AC Red and Clear. Some standard systems also come with yellow lenses. All-Sport systems come with Smoke, GT and EC lenses. Polarized systems come with a Brown or Smoke Polarized, AC Red and Yellow lens.
WHAT ARE FOTOTEC LENSES?
Tifosi Optics Fototec lenses are mixed with microscopic photochromes that darken when in contact with ultraviolet rays. Tifosi Fototec lenses are polycarbonate and offer 100 percent UVA / UVB protection. Each of the six shades of the lens will darken in about 12 seconds and return to its original color in about two minutes.
Tifosi also offers two Polarized Fototec lenses that combine the versatility of Polycarbonate Fototec lenses with the glare-killing properties of polarized lenses. The Brown and Smoke Polarized Fototec lenses also darken in about 12 seconds and return to their original state in two minutes.
WHAT ARE POLARIZED SUNGLASSES?
Polarized lenses are designed to eliminate glare that causes eyestrain and decreased vision. Tifosi Optics polarized lenses are made of shatterproof polycarbonate and offset to minimize optical distortion at the periphery.
So how does this work? When light is reflected from shiny surfaces, it is usually horizontally polarized. Horizontally polarized light is blocked by vertically oriented polarizers in the lens.
DO ALL TYPHOSI LENSES BLOCK UVA / UVB RAYS?
Yes, all Tifosi lenses offer protection against harmful UVA / UVB rays. Note: They are not suitable for direct observation of the sun or strong artificial light sources.
IS THE LENS COLOR IMPORTANT?
Yes! Tifosi offers a wide variety of lens tint options to suit all personal preferences and outdoor lighting conditions. Smoke lenses show minimal color distortion and are perfect for use in bright sun conditions. Brown lenses are great for bright sunlight and bring out colors.
Red AC (All Conditions) lenses provide enhanced vision in cloudy or foggy weather. AC Red lenses provide contrast in medium to low light conditions.
Clear lenses allow the wearer to have protection at night or in other extremely low lighting conditions. Although clear, these Tifosi Optics lenses still offer 100% UVA / UVB protection.
The GT (Golf/Tennis) lens has a smoky greenish tint that is known for its object illumination properties. This lens enhances the user's ability to catch a ball in flight.
The EC (Extreme Contrast) lens is ideal for situations where high contrast is mandatory, such as when reading greens on the golf course or capturing the lines of a single course. This purple lens filters the hazy blue light spectrum that is responsible for optical blur and distortion.
