Holiday Checklist
All the bits you might forget!
From a weekend trip away to a week in paradise, we are all jet-setting off around the world. If there's one thing we could do without when going on holiday, it's the packing. We love buying all the clothes for the holiday but remembering to pack everything is the stress we could do without when we are about to set off into a stress-free life.
Here's our holiday checklist for the things you might forget (plus a few essentials for traveling)...
1. Padlock
Those may not find it important to bring but we aren't taking any risks with our holiday wardrobe. It's always a panic waiting for your suitcase at the baggage carousel, having a padlock always eases my mind knowing that everything will be in there no matter the state of my suitcase when it returns!
2. Pack an extra outfit
Just in case the worst does happen and your luggage gets lost, why not have a backup outfit and swimwear at the ready in your hand luggage. This means you still have a tee and some shorts to get you through the first day. Our terry set, is ideal for light packing and was made for days at the beach.

3. Travel adaptors
You may have packed your phone charger, but have you remembered your travel adaptor. Check to see what adaptor you need to bring before traveling.
4. Airplane essentials
Even though you've picked an outfit that will suit the weather when you arrive at your hot destination. Let's not forget that the airplane can get cold… We've got just the thing.
5. Mini Hand Luggage
If you're anything like us then your hand luggage is packed with the emergency plane essentials, sanitizers, wipes, etc. When it comes to needing something, we always have to empty the complete contents of our bag just to get something. By having a mini bag of the airport essentials you'll know exactly what you're looking for.

7. Portable USB
You never know when you might need it and it's always a great idea to have. Our USB keyring clips onto anything and are disguised with tassels making it look like a bag accessory!

Top tips when its really hot!
The weather can be a little unpredictable at the moment, and as much as we all pray for a heatwave, when it comes around, we are nowhere near as prepared as we should be. Top tips for hot weather, keep your curtains closed in your baby's room all day and (if you can) with the windows open, this will get the room to a cool temperature ready for when it's time to sleep. Your baby's room should be between 16c to 20c ideal temperature at 18c.
The baby centre has a great graphic on what to wear at different temperatures-

Summer Pyjamas for Mum
There is no worse feeling than waking up in the middle of the night sweltering hot in the summer. It is a struggle to get back to sleep as you profusely wiggle around trying to find the cold spot in bed. Even more of a struggle when you are just as hot trying to cool down your irritable little one. Choosing the correct material to sleep in will do wonders for you come to the summertime or even for any planned hot holidays trips.
Summertime Silk
Silk is a great and versatile material to wear in all seasons but will do you the most benefits when it comes to the summer. Silk is one of the most breathable materials and allows the release of sweat and humidity trapping inside to keep you fresh throughout the night. If your skin is just as sensitive to the hotter weather and is prone to eczema, silk also offers hypoallergic and non-irritating benefits.
