Italo train tickets

There are three different types of Italo train tickets - Flex, Economy and Low Cost. Ticket prices vary based on the class, travel date and number of seats available. Read on to pick the most suitable ticket type for you.

Low Cost

As the name may suggest, this is the cheapest Italo ticket fare, which gives you fantastic value for money. There's little flexibility with Low Cost tickets though, so we advise you to be completely sure about the train you want to be on. You can change the date and time of your ticket, but refunds and changes will cost you 50% of your ticket plus the difference of the new ticket.

Economy

Still a cheap Italo train ticket, the Economy ticket gives you the opportunity to modify your ticket for a much lower price than you would with the Low Cost ticket. Changes to the time and date can be made at the cost of 20% of the ticket, with cancellation costing 40% of the price of the ticket.

Flex

Being the most flexible ticket type, you can change the date, time and name of a Flex ticket as much as you want before your travel date, completely free of charge! You can also cancel the ticket at the cost of 20% of its original price.

Italo train classes

All Italo trains offer four classes with different levels of comfort - Smart, Comfort, Prima and Club Executive. Discover which class is the right one for you below.

Smart

Smart is Italo's standard and cheapest class, but that doesn't mean you miss out on the great service! It provides you with free WiFi, leather seats and a food carriage supplying hot and cold drinks and snacks. What's more, there's also a cinema carriage that will play current movies, making those long trips a little more enjoyable!

Comfort

Extra space, free WiFi, leather seats - the Comfort Class is as affordable as the Smart one, but also offers the same comfort as First Class (Prima). If you want to sit back and relax during your journey, travelling in Comfort is the best option for you!

Prima

Prima is Italo's first class - you enjoy Fast Track through the luggage check, an onboard welcome service, complimentary hot and cold beverages, snacks and free WiFi. Seats in Prima Class are also wider, more comfortable and have power sockets, reading lights and a glove compartment.

Club Executive

Travelling in the Club Executive class gives you a premium experience throughout your journey. Enjoy complimentary entry to the Italo Club lounges at all major train stations, plus Fast Track through security. There's also a dedicated catering service, with drinks and snacks provided throughout the trip. To keep you entertained, there are TV screens in every seat, displaying movies and TV shows on-demand.

talobus
