Nintendo Switch Lite available in multiple colour options
The handheld-only Lite model retails at a lower price point than the standard Switch and comes in several colours including turquoise, yellow, grey and coral. It's the cheapest way into the Switch library if you don't need TV output or detachable Joy-Con.
Download free-to-play Switch games with no purchase required
Titles like Fortnite, Rocket League and Apex Legends are available as free downloads directly from the store. No payment is needed for the base game - you only spend money if you choose to buy in-game currency or cosmetic add-ons.
Pre-order upcoming Switch games at locked-in price
Reserve unreleased titles through the store and your card isn't charged until dispatch, meaning you secure the current listed price even if it increases before launch day. Pre-orders also occasionally come with bonus digital content as an early-buyer incentive.
Nintendo Switch Sports and accessories bundle deals
Motion-control titles like Nintendo Switch Sports are sometimes bundled with extra Joy-Con straps or leg straps at a package price below the cost of buying each component on its own. Ideal if you're setting up for multiplayer from the start.
Wish list alerts when wish-listed games drop in price
Add any game to your wish list on the store and you'll receive an email notification when it goes on sale. This works for both physical and digital titles, letting you hold out for a better price without having to manually check back every day.
Free game with selected Nintendo Switch console purchases
During promotional periods the store runs offers where buying a new Switch or Switch OLED model includes a free digital game download. The eligible title changes each promotion and the offer is typically limited to one redemption per console purchase.
Redeem My Nintendo Platinum Points for digital rewards
Platinum Points earned through mobile apps and Nintendo missions can be exchanged for digital wallpapers, in-game items and occasional discount vouchers on the My Nintendo rewards page. Points expire after six months, so it's worth checking what's available before they lapse.
Discounted accessories in the clearance section
Controllers, charging docks, cases and other Switch peripherals that are being phased out or have excess stock get moved to clearance at reduced prices. Functionality is identical to full-price equivalents - the discount reflects inventory rather than condition.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack adds N64 and Sega classics
The premium tier of the online subscription includes everything from the standard plan plus Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive game libraries, along with select DLC access for titles like Animal Crossing and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Available as a 12-month individual or family plan.
Console and game bundles with built-in savings
Switch hardware is occasionally packaged together with a popular first-party game at a combined price that undercuts buying the console and title separately. These bundles appear around major release windows and tend to have limited availability.
Nintendo eShop gift cards available from £15
Prepaid top-up cards in £15, £25 and £50 denominations can be bought directly from the store and redeemed against any digital purchase on the eShop. They're a handy option if you want to set a spending limit or give credit as a gift without tying it to a specific game.
Nintendo-themed apparel and merchandise in the sale section
T-shirts, hoodies, plush toys and other branded goods are periodically marked down when the store refreshes its clothing and lifestyle range. Sizes and designs sell out quickly during these clearances, so it pays to check early when a new batch drops.
Amiibo figures reduced on selected characters
Certain Amiibo in the store's collectibles range have been price-cut, including both current and slightly older figures. Each Amiibo unlocks in-game content across compatible Switch titles, so the saving applies to both the physical figure and its digital perks.
Selected physical game cartridges on sale
Boxed Switch games in the store's sale section include a rotating mix of popular releases and older titles at below RRP. Stock is limited on each title, and once a batch sells through the price typically doesn't return until the next promotion cycle.
Selected digital games reduced in the eShop sale
Browse the digital deals section for first-party and third-party titles that have been marked down from their usual price. Discounts vary by game and rotate regularly, so checking back every few weeks surfaces different bargains.
Family membership for Nintendo Switch Online covers up to eight accounts
A 12-month family plan lets up to eight Nintendo Account holders share one subscription, which is significantly cheaper per person than buying individual memberships. Everyone in the group gets the same online play, cloud backup and retro game access.
Nintendo Switch Online individual membership from £3.49
Monthly, quarterly and annual subscription tiers are available for solo players who want online multiplayer, cloud saves and a library of classic NES and SNES titles. The 12-month plan works out cheapest per month if you play regularly throughout the year.
Refurbished Nintendo Switch consoles at lower prices
The store stocks officially reconditioned Switch and Switch Lite units that have been tested and restored to working condition. These carry a reduced price tag compared to brand-new models and come with a warranty, making them a solid pick if you want the hardware without paying full retail.
Earn My Nintendo Gold Points on every digital purchase
Digital game buys through the store automatically add Gold Points to your My Nintendo account - typically 5% of the purchase value. Those points stack up and can be put toward future eShop downloads, effectively giving you money back on each transaction.
Free standard delivery on orders over £20
Spend £20 or more on games, consoles, accessories or merchandise and standard UK shipping is included at no extra cost. Orders below that threshold carry a delivery fee, so it's worth bundling a couple of items together to clear the bar.
