OFFER - 10% off Looking Good on the Nursery Plants
Our very best-looking plants, hand-picked by our team straight from the nursery. Find the perfect plant for instant seasonal impact!
Free packet of seeds with selected plant orders
When you buy from specific promotional ranges, a complimentary seed packet is added to your dispatch automatically - no need to add it to your basket. The free variety changes with the seasons and is announced on qualifying product pages.
Gardening gift vouchers available from £10
Thompson & Morgan gift vouchers start at £10 and can be put towards any product on site, making them a flexible present for gardeners who prefer to choose their own plants. They're delivered by post and have no expiry date.
Seasonal bulb collections at bundle prices
Pre-mixed bulb collections for summer or autumn planting work out cheaper per bulb than buying each variety separately. Each collection comes with a planting plan so you know which bulbs go where for the best visual impact.
Indoor plant offers - selected houseplants reduced
Houseplants including ferns, succulents, and flowering indoor varieties are periodically discounted. These offers tend to appear when the nursery has surplus stock ready for immediate dispatch, so availability is limited to what's currently potted and growing.
Save on hedging plants and bare-root whips
Hedging varieties like hawthorn, beech, and privet are cheaper when bought in bulk packs of 50 or 100 whips. Autumn and winter are the best time to order bare-root hedging as that's when plants are dormant and ready for transplanting.
Buy one get one free on selected plant varieties
Throughout the year Thompson & Morgan runs BOGOF promotions on specific plug plants and bare-root varieties. The eligible plants are clearly marked on the product page, and the cheapest item in your pair is the one you get free.
Discounted garden equipment and accessories
Tools, plant supports, watering cans, and other garden sundries appear in the offers section alongside plants. These are usually end-of-line or seasonal clearance rather than permanent price cuts, so grab them while they're listed.
Special offers on rose bushes and climbing roses
Featured rose varieties - including popular hybrid teas, floribundas, and fragrant climbers - are periodically discounted below their standard nursery price. The selection refreshes with each new growing season and includes both bare-root and potted options depending on availability.
Reduced prices on selected perennial plants
Hardy perennials that are coming to the end of their dispatch window are often marked down to clear before the planting season closes. These are established plants ready to go straight into the ground, not bare-root leftovers.
Save on vegetable seeds and seed collections
Thompson & Morgan's own-brand seed packets are priced competitively year-round, and bundled seed collections for kitchen gardens offer better value than buying individual packets. Look for the 'grow your own' range if you're starting a vegetable plot from scratch.
Half-price deals on selected fruit trees
A rotating selection of apple, pear, cherry, and plum trees is marked down to clear surplus nursery stock. The discounted varieties change throughout the year, so what's available in autumn may differ from the spring range.
Multi-buy savings on bedding plug plants
Order larger quantities of bedding plugs and the per-plant price drops significantly. Buying 200 plugs instead of 100 can cut the cost per plant by a third, making it ideal if you're filling hanging baskets, borders, or containers across a big garden.
Up to 70% off in the clearance sale
The clearance section features end-of-line plants, surplus bulbs, and discontinued garden tools at heavily reduced prices. Stock moves fast and once a variety is gone, it's usually not restocked, so it's worth checking back weekly during peak growing seasons.
Free standard delivery on orders over £50
Standard UK shipping is waived when your basket reaches £50, which is easy to hit if you're buying a few trays of plug plants or a combination of bulbs and garden accessories. Heavier items like large trees may still incur a surcharge due to their size.
