Junior Chess Starter Kits from Under £20
Lightweight plastic sets with a roll-up vinyl board are designed for school clubs and beginners. Each kit includes a full set of pieces, a board, and a basic rules leaflet - everything a child needs to start learning without investing in a wooden set.
Replacement Pieces Available Individually
Lost a knight or snapped a pawn? Individual pieces from popular Staunton ranges are sold separately so you don't need to replace an entire set. Check the spare parts section and match by design name and king height.
Tournament-Grade Staunton Chess Sets Now in the Sale Section
Several full-size Staunton designs - including weighted club pieces and double-weighted tournament models - have been moved into the sale tab. These are the same specification sets used in over-the-board competitive play, now at lower prices while current stock lasts.
NHS and Key Worker Discount on All Chess Sets
Frontline workers can claim a reduced price across the full range by verifying employment through the designated verification service. The discount stacks with sale prices on items already marked down.
Refer a Friend and You Both Receive Store Credit
Share your unique referral link from your account dashboard. When a friend places their first order through that link, they get money off and you earn credit toward your next chess set purchase.
Create an Account for Faster Checkout and Order Tracking
Registered customers can save multiple delivery addresses, track dispatch progress in real time, and revisit past orders to reorder replacement pieces without searching the catalogue again.
Gift Vouchers Available from £10
Digital gift cards in £10, £25, and £50 denominations are emailed directly to the recipient. They're ideal when you're unsure whether someone prefers a folding travel set or a full tournament Staunton, and there's no expiry date on the balance.
Bundle a Chess Board with Matching Pieces and Save
Instead of buying a board and a set of pieces separately, the pre-matched bundles pair compatible sizes and styles together at a lower combined price than purchasing each component on its own.
Clearance Corner - Last Chance Chess Sets at Reduced Prices
A dedicated clearance section gathers discontinued lines, end-of-line boards, and single-piece display sets that are being phased out. Stock is limited to what's physically on the shelf, so once it's gone, it's gone.
Free UK Delivery on Orders Over £50
Standard shipping is waived when your basket reaches £50, which covers most full-size wooden sets. Anything under that threshold carries a flat £4.95 courier fee to mainland UK addresses.
Deluxe Hardwood Folding Travel Chess Set Now £110.25
