Or writing with fire… that's what you get when you translate the Greek to English (disclaimer: according to Google). Included in the Autumn Craft Bundle is the ohh-so-cool Pyrography set. Personalising will never be the same again! Learn to etch your favourite design or lettering on to wooden pieces, which will make gifts that little bit more extra special.
Here's how it works:
1. Screw your chosen attachment in place and then switch on the tool
Warning: it gets very hot!
2. Hold the tool like a pen and move slowly, ensuring not to rush
3. Burn in the direction of the grain
4. To change the attachments, switch off and let it cool for 5 minutes.
5. Once finished, switch off and let it cool for 5 minutes.
6. Adding a mineral oil or beeswax coating will preserve your design.
